AWAKENING THE LIGHT

As we make our own wounds visible and available, they can be of service to the healing of others.

  • This story of wounding, struggle, and healing encourages survivors to claim their going-forward stories.
  • Tambry’s experiences, concepts and heart shine light into the darkness that surrounds abuse.
  • The book is also a helpful resource for family and friends who want to understand the complexities of healing from trauma and abuse.

Sometimes it is easier to begin the next step in our healing journey from the safety of our own home.  Awakening the Light gently guides the reader through the author’s journey from surviving to thriving while asking engaging questions all along the way.  This resource helps the reader begin to see themselves in a whole new light and feel empowered to write the next chapter of their going-forward story.

Section One invites the reader into the author’s story by asking reflection questions. Together author and reader walk through the stages of forming, launching, evolving, awakening, claiming, and thriving.

Section Two focuses on the reader’s exploration and moves through a mindful process of exploring the main character of the story. The reader sees themself more holistically, maybe even more compassionately than ever before. The reader claims a vision for future life-giving chapters.

The overarching hope of this inspiring book is to create a community of people moving from surviving to thriving and journeying together.
